People Insights Analyst

Riot's People team exists to help Rioters make better decisions around its talent. We bring our expertise to all of those typical HR activities such as hiring, onboarding, development, diversity and inclusion, performance management, benefits, perks, compensation, big events, labor relations, off- boarding so that all Rioters can flourish.

As an People Insights Analyst, you will report to the Manager of People Analytics. You will manage developing reporting capability and applying analytics for People Data at Riot, which will include the creation/development of a Tableau suite of dashboards for key audiences. You will partner with the Head of TA and business leaders to move from proactive reporting to predictive analytics.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, validation, and maintenance of high value dashboards and analytic tools used across People that help inform on productivity/efficacy, and enable predictive analytics.

  • Work with key partners/stakeholders on data quality for the product by identifying potentially problematic data and recommending/making corrections.

  • Set standards for the expected quality bar for research, report development, and data quality reviews.

  • Operate with a consultative approach, managing multiple stakeholder expectations simultaneously.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in designing and building solutions using self-service analytical tools such as Tableau.

  • 5+ years experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Databricks, Spark, and SPSS.

  • 5+ years experience in scripting with PostgreSQL, Python, and extracting large sets of data.

  • Experience translating People-data business questions into analysis and dashboards.

  • Experience building and delivering large-scale analytics and reporting solutions.

  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse)

  • Prior work designing and building ETL flows

  • Experience in implementing data governance principles, processes, and models.

  • Experience in developing and implementing predictive models (machine learning), forecasting techniques, and advanced analytics methodologies. Ability to leverage data sets to identify patterns, predict trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically, critically, and creatively. Capacity to analyze complex data sets, identify relevant patterns, and generate meaningful insights that drive strategic decision- making related to people management.

  • For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and choices that focus on your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!

  • (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $124,900.00 - $175,600.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
