Are you passionate about student volunteering schemes? Are you willing to be part of a team whose drive is to recruit, train and oversee projects where students can learn and develop whilst supporting their peers?
The Peer Support team run several student-led schemes and have approximately 1000 students across all of them. As an administrator you will support the coordinators in recruiting, training and developing the students through the schemes and ensuring resources are up to date whilst communicating on several platforms to various stakeholders. You may run reports, book rooms and organise events throughout the year to compliment the skills training for the schemes.
You will be responsible for communicating with various students, stakeholders and staff in a variety of ways. Working on different digital platforms such as Microsoft teams, My skills, Excel and Word, you will multitask with various data streams, creating reports and updating coordinators with key data. At times there will be a need to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment, logistically arranging events and using multiple platforms to do so, and you will need to think creatively to engage students through marketing channels.
As an office we also signpost students to other areas of support, offer products and act as resource bank for PAL leaders so therefore need to offer excellent customer service to any student entering our doors.
