The Awards have been established to encourage students to undertake a research project in climate extremes.
Students must submit their application directly to the Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes (COECX) for the application process.
To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate coursework degree program at UNSW or other Australian University
Each applicant will be assessed on their ability to demonstrate:
- Academic Merit
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in any quantitative degree
- Reason for undertaking studies in climate science and interest in pursuing postgraduate studies in climate sciences
