If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Organisation and Staff Development (OSD) Team at Middlesex University as an Organisational Development (OD) Business Partner. We are looking for an accomplished Organisational Development Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in advancing the professional growth and effectiveness of our academic community to deliver our strategic objectives.

As an Organisational Development Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with faculty leaders, academics and researchers to identify opportunities for growth, design and implement strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping how we manage change and lead high performing teams to meet our strategic priorities.

The role will also involve working collaboratively with academic leaders to develop and execute development plans, designing and delivering workshops and training sessions, utilising data to measure the impact of development initiatives, providing guidance on change management and organisational effectiveness, and partnering with HR and academic departments to align development efforts with strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or relevant equivalent, CIPD membership and significant experience in organisational design and development and in delivering a range of interventions to meet organisational needs. These include leadership development, change management, workforce planning and coaching. You will be joining a welcoming and collaborative OSD team at a time where there is a potential for making a real and positive impact across the University.

Established in 1878, Middlesex University is a public university that is associated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the European University Association, Coalition of Modern Universities, and Universities UK. Earlier, the university was known as the Middlesex Polytechnic University. It gained the status of a university in 1992. The university decided to re-structure its academic school to faculties in 2012.

Apart from London, the university has three other campuses in Dubai, Mauritius, and Malta. The campus in London features the neo-Georgian architectural style.
