Nurse in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 523804) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, with at least 1 year's clinical experience in ophthalmic care. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluent Cantonese), a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively as a team.

The appointee will assist in clinical services in the Department and mainly work in HKU Eye Centre located in Wong Chuk Hang. He/She will provide nursing care support during ophthalmic consultations, clinical trials, ocular procedures and surgeries; provide health education and perform other duties as assigned. Occasional overtime work may be required.
