Medium Duty Sales Manager

Description

Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to customers in a reoccurring frequency. Relocation may be provided.

The selected candidate will assume territorial responsibility and relocate to one of the locations listed below:

  • Atlanta, GA
  • Orlando, FL
  • Charlotte, NC
  • This role is responsible for overseeing the regional Medium Duty activity that includes Chevrolet Low Cab Forward and Chevrolet Silverado Medium Duty Chassis Cab. This includes being the lead subject matter expert for Medium Duty Dealers, GM Envolve Team members and customers.

    Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for guiding regional activity to reach Medium Duty sales volume targets
  • Act as Medium Duty subject matter expert in the region
  • Collaborate with Commercial Field Teams to ensure compliance to Low Cab Forward and Silverado Medium Duty dealer participation requirements
  • Assist dealers in developing and executing a solid Medium Duty marketing and sales/service strategy
  • Manage day-to-day Medium Duty sales activities in the region
  • Act as a liaison with regional upfitters to support Medium Duty activity and awareness
  • Conduct Medium Duty sales training with Dealers, Field and Upfitters
  • Conduct joint sales calls with GM Envolve Account Executives and Area Sales Managers as the regional subject matter expert
  • Provide guidance and set priorities for Medium Duty Business Development Managers
  • Uncover and disseminate competitive intelligence to internal teams
  • Represent Chevrolet Medium Duty at commercial shows, events, and local truck club meetings
  • Role Qualifications

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related areas
  • Prior Low Cab Forward and/or Medium Duty conventional experience
  • Field and direct dealer contact experience
  • Strong collaboration skills with dealers, field, customers and internal teams
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work independently
  • Extensive regional travel up to 50% or as needed

    Compensation:

  • The expected base compensation for this role is: ($90,223.08 - $144,122.52.).Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
