Job Description

The Client Services Account Executive helps manage tactical execution of both on-line and off-line programs as well as client relationships relative to those programs.

You are responsible for leading the day-to-day management and implementation of client programs, initiatives and ensuring flawless program execution. Integral to the success of this position is the ability to work with all levels and roles within the organization, including but not limited to, production, creative, studio, accounting/finance, field reps, other account teams, and third-party vendors / service providers.


  • Ensure client satisfaction by developing relationships and maintaining consistent communication with client(s).
  • Effectively manage marketing programs for client(s) through program recommendations, project execution, and results analysis.
  • Be a subject matter expert in the programs and initiatives that are managed for client(s).
  • Act as a project manager by possessing knowledge of all work in progress and ensuring projects and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a highly organized and detail- oriented manner while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Act as the liaison between the client, internal teams, and third-party vendors to facilitate client and marketing needs. Prioritize workload and provide direction to team.
  • Effectively negotiate and communicate client and agency needs and desires.
  • Ensure account profitability.
  • Assist in the generation of presentations, conference reports, program reporting and status reports.
  • Actively participate in internal and client meetings.
  • Examples of Duties:

  • Manage execution of projects and monitor progress to ensure timely and accurate delivery of service(s).
  • Develop creative briefs, timelines, manage development and execution of creative concepts.
  • Work with the production team to ensure accuracy and quality of printed materials.
  • Review and approve specifications, paper samples, color separations, proofs, press checks, envelope sign offs and insertion samples.
  • Develop marketing recommendations and agency point of views.
  • Conduct competitive research.
  • Develop project estimates and coordinate project billing.
  • Review program/campaign reporting/results and contribute thoughts, insights, and recommendations to the team.
  • Work with field team to provide input as needed, address questions and receive feedback and share with appropriate team members.
  • Background/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing services with an emphasis on direct mail, email, and/or digital marketing (preferably in the automotive industry).
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Proven track record in execution of detailed projects and ability to demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making.
  • Ability to identify problems/issues and recommend solutions to team.
