This job is only available to current students at the University of Bath.

This is a fixed-term role for approximately six months or one year, depending on which course you're on. This placement starts in August and is only open to University of Bath School of Management placement students.

We are looking for a creative and motivated placement student to support our social media and marketing activities. Working with our Marketing team, you'll help to raise the profile of the School of Management and promote our courses to UK and international students.

The role

You'll help to develop and create engaging content for our social media channels:

  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • X (https: // twitter.com/BathSofM)
  • YouTube
  • You'll also support the production of marketing campaign materials, both digital and print. You will gain experience in supporting the planning and delivery of events.

    In this role, you'll help create a range of social media content for our channels. Here are some examples previous placement students have created:

  • Apply your knowledge and experience of the University of Bath School of Management to developing innovative marketing solutions
  • Play a key role in delivering and developing the School of Management's brand
  • Make a real impact on how the School of Management promotes itself to prospective students

The university has invested over £450 million on its campus over the last decade.

    In 2015, the university inaugurated a specialized area for arts, education, and events. The University of Bath has a well-built infrastructure with all the essential facilities and amenities a student will require. The university gives equal focus on sports and offers one of the best sports facilities in the UK. The university-based athletes won six medals in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

    Almost one-fourth of the students enrolled are from outside the UK, so, the university offers a perfect internationally diverse experience. Airbus, World Bank, Nike, Ford, and Rolls Royce are some of the industry leaders, which collaborate with the university.
