Description

You will provide marketing divisions with an in depth understanding of their target customers, and how to most effectively communicate with them about new product launches. Provide insights from consumer feedback on positioning, features, technologies, messaging, advertising, sales and service concepts, and other relevant business issues

Market Research Project Execution

  • Plan, conduct primary market researches compliance to methodologies, and cross-functionally coordinate with global and local teams.
  • Develop sample plan, questionnaires, and support stimuli development and review process.
  • On-site coordination with partners and vendors for research fielding, qualitative interviews, and workshops; Support set-up, and quality management.
  • Provide customer data and insights to support future strategic discussion. Full engagement in cross functional teamwork with forecasting, portfolio, and propulsion planning.
  • Independently perform desktop research, and data analysis on primary and secondary research data.
  • Interpret customers' data into market insights and future industry trends.
  • Create research report timely and communicate key findings effectively with external / internal team members.
  • Support function / program team review
  • Manage own work against a project plan to ensure superior deliverables
  • Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing customer data, and develop informed recommendations that shape or support the business strategy
  • Interact with and / or lead cross-functional teams of internal and external constituents to develop and drive customer-centric initiative
  • Build and contribute market research domain thought leadership for use by GM organization
  • Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem solving
  • Produce a high-quality work product and collaborate with others to deliver superior deliverables

  • Organize insights and define a logical flow to tell a story when presenting recommendations
  • Requirement

  • 2-4 years of management consulting or market research experience OR 4-6 years of relevant industry experience
  • MBA from a top-tier institution (preferred, not a must)
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and team-building abilities
  • Emerging business development skills
  • Proven capabilities for team development and coaching
  • Proven core consulting skills including: slide design, document story lining, problem solving, analytics, modelling
  • Technical skills: strong written and oral communications ability, foster open dialogue amongst the team, strategic thinking, strong organizational capability
  • Professional skills: strong networking ability, client management, team management
  • Solid history of professional and personal achievements
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of the industry preferred not a must
  • Final level to be determined based on the candidate's
