This position will be based out of Epson America's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA with a hybrid schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.

What will you be responsible for? As an integral leader within Epson's Sales Operations team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team, designing programs, and overseeing the Salesforce system for the US and Canada. This role will focus on bringing new programs to market, collaborating with key internal stakeholders, building program processes, and providing a consistent metrics on program performance.

What will you be doing?

Sales Programs and Systems Leadership

  • Orchestrates sales program viability and business value with key stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations
  • Oversees integrity of programs and approvals are following programs as designed; escalate non-compliance immediately.
  • Builds robust program processes and feedback loop on program performance.
  • Drives collaboration between all stakeholder departments on sales program elements, desired outcome and reporting metrics.
  • Oversees the design and development of system logic for implementing efficient sales programs.
  • Oversees submissions and prioritization of Salesforce system incidents, Salesforce system enhancements, and large team projects priorities.
  • Manage team members in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, user story development, testing, training, defining and implementing support procedures.
  • Sales Analysis and Reporting

  • Oversees and creates regular and ad-hoc reporting to analyze activity by customer, product, channel, and program.
  • Oversees system approvals, reporting, and dashboards design to provide data driven insights of sales programs.
  • Provides recommendations to senior management based on an analysis of sales information.
  • Relationship Management

  • Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues (that require escalation).
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and Senior Managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
  • Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc).
  • Maintains professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.
  • What You Will Bring:

    Experience: Proven 5-8 years of successful experience in a sales programs/sales operations management role, demonstrating a track record of achieving targets and driving team performance. Education: Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience, with a focus on business administration, marketing, or a related field. Leadership: Previous management experience leading and developing a team of direct reports, showcasing strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the commercial B2B products industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape. Sales Strategy: Profound knowledge of commercial sales channels and go-to- market strategies, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales programs. Adaptability: Ability to work as a team player and with flexibility in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, responding adeptly to changing market conditions and business priorities. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, being organized, process-oriented, and capable of simplifying complex issues to make informed decisions. Technical Aptitude: Previous experience overseeing technical systems and working with IT, ensuring smooth integration of sales tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Coaching and Development: Proficiency in coaching and developing team members with multiple responsibilities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, senior management, and cross- functional teams. Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, enabling the creation of insightful reports, data analysis, and compelling presentations. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of long-term sales strategies that align with overall business objectives. Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify challenges within sales operations and develop innovative solutions to streamline processes and improve overall team performance. Project Management: Strong project management skills to coordinate and execute sales initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time. Metrics-Driven: Comfortable working with data to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-based decision-making. Customer-Centric Approach: A customer-focused mindset, understanding the importance of building strong relationships and delivering value to clients. Vendor Management Skills: Proficient in vendor evaluation and contract management. Cultural Awareness : Ability to work with diverse teams and adapt management styles to different cultural contexts, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.

    The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $114,328 and $157,201. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
