Salary: UH7 £37,099 pa to £40,521 pa with the potential to increase to £44,263 pa on achieving designated skills and experience
Annual Leave: 30 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant within the UH Finance team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Management Accountant is primarily a business partnering role, providing direct support to staff whilst operating as part of the University's Professional team within the Finance Department. In addition, there are Central Finance responsibilities being involved with ad-hoc projects, Funding Councils and responsibility for UH monthly, budget and forecasting management reporting.
Skills and experience required
You will have experience of working within a financial environment, providing financial advice, support and influence to non-finance colleagues. In addition, you must be able to combine business partnering with financial principles, working accurately at the detailed level, and interpreting the data at a high level in order to provide meaningful analyses to financial and non-financial staff.
You should have excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, with a proven record of development and achievement in the provision of management information.
Qualifications Required
You must be at least a part-qualified member of a professional accounting qualification (CCAB). Ideally, you will be educated to degree level, or equivalent.

Formerly recognized as Hatfield Technical College, University of Hertfordshire is a public university which was established in the year 1952.
