The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor position for our lung transplant program. Applicant must have an M.D. degree from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Additionally, applicants will need to have at least three years dedicated lung transplant experience. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Duties include providing and supervising patient care in ambulatory lung transplant clinics and inpatient services and postoperative care of lung and heart-lung transplant patients at the University and its affiliated hospitals, performing bronchoscopic procedures and teaching and training of residents...
