We are looking for an experienced and passionate Localization Specialist to support the Hunt: Showdown development team.

As a Localization Specialist, you are expected to define and ensure high quality standards for all localized content, coordinating internal translation requirements, communicating with external translators, developing efficient processes, while ensuring that deadlines are met. You must have excellent people management skills, strong schedule and prioritization skills, and good background knowledge of localization pipelines, and the games industry.

1. Come to our modern headquarters in Frankfurt and receive an attractive relocation package and have access to all of our benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the quality of Hunt: Showdown in different languages.
  • Identify and coordinate internal requirements for translations.
  • Foster good relationships with translation partners.
  • Create and maintain documentation to assist translators.
  • Be an expert on the project and clarify details to translators.
  • Improve and streamline internal localization processes.
  • Expand the project into new languages and widen its accessibility.
  • Identify and champion non-textual aspects of localization.
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in localization in the games industry.
  • Shipped at least one title on PC and/or Console from beginning to end.
  • Background in translation and languages.
  • Passion and knowledge of games.
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines and communicate these clearly.
  • Able to work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence etc.), and localization tools.
  • Team player and self-driven.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Solid English skills, proficiency in one or more additional languages, good communication skills with strong affinity for transparency.

  • Proven track record of ensuring the quality of translated materials.
  • Experience developing localization pipelines and working with in-house tools.
  • Experience in using CRYENGINE or any other game engine.
