Responsibilities
The Legal and Public Policy Fellow works with a team of internal and external counsel members on various projects involving public policy related to behavioral healthcare. The fellow is responsible for conducting and presenting legal research aligned with Hazelden Betty Ford's strategic priorities. The fellow supports the day-to-day activities of the general counsel's office and contributes to process improvements and standardization of procedures. The fellow will be part of a multi-enterprise risk assessment and coordinate implementation efforts.
The Legal and Public Policy fellow will have access to senior executives in our national system of care and the industry counterparts. The fellow contributes to meaningful projects, has exposure to a $35 billion industry experiencing growth, and observes decision-making at the executive level.
This is a hybrid role, reporting to our St. Paul location
