About the Roles We currently have opportunities for two Lecturers and/or Senior Lecturers to join the Department of Psychological Sciences at Swinburne University on a full-time or part-time basis.
The Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Psychology hired into these roles will contribute to teaching in postgraduate clinical psychology and will provide clinical supervision to postgraduate students in the Psychology Clinic. The incumbents will be responsible for coordinating and supporting sessional and other teaching staff to ensure a high-quality teaching experience for students and will also develop and manage industry partnerships and conduct research.
Our undergraduate psychology programs provide students with foundational skills and work integrated learning to undergo further training in psychology and/or research or enter the workforce with a Psychology degree. After successfully completing their course, students in the postgraduate clinical and/or forensic psychology courses are eligible for general psychologist registration in Australia, and to begin their registrar program for Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical and/or Forensic Psychology.
