The Opportunity
The School of Psychological Sciences is seeking to appoint two Lecturers (Education Focused) who will make substantial contributions to the course coordination, teaching and curriculum redevelopment within the Graduate Diploma in Psychology Advanced (GDPA) program. These positions will be entrusted with the design, delivery and evaluation of a diverse array of teaching activities and will play a key role in leading unit/course development, team teaching and handling unit administration requirements. Beyond your teaching roles, you will also actively engage in generating scholarly activity and research outputs that demonstrate advanced understanding of educational practices within your field and will provide valuable supervision to 4th Year students, either individually or as part of a team.
These positions are suited to a highly motivated individual who holds qualifications and/or experience recognised by the University as appropriate for the relevant discipline area. A position at this level may also require a doctoral qualification or equivalent research and teaching experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will ideally have a demonstrated strong record of teaching experience in a tertiary environment and demonstrated experience in developing teaching material.
