Responsibilities
Work with US-based clients and Vietnam development team to understand
business needs and develop technical solutions for enterprise applications
Lead the offshore development center, ensure the understanding and
compliance of offshore engineers to the product vision, and technical
direction
Accountable for leading the development team to maintain, improve code
quality, maintainability of the software suite and achieve other
operational goals for the software suite
Participate in software architecture and design activities with both the
client's technical leaders and KMS onshore/offshore, make technical
decisions for the development of the applications
Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed
Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this
knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this.
Design, develop, review, implement, maintain and manage continuous
integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any
code as required.
Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
Perform estimate or estimate reviews
Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed
Participate in solving challenging technical issues and providing other
technical support to our end users as needed
Provide mentoring/training for junior members if any
Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications
General requirements:
At least intermediate skill level of English and the ability to present to
client's technical leaders and executive team as well as participating
online conferences in English
Good problem-solving skills and presentation skills
Familiar with the Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
Likely having 5+ years of experience depending on how fast the candidate
can learn and develop his technical capability
Ability to obtain deep knowledge of the project technologies and work
independently with minimum guidance
Technical requirements:
Competent in software development processes and agile development
practices
Proficient in software design, language paradigms (OO, functional etc.),
design patterns and principles
Solid experience in C++ programing & strong experience developing C++
based, large-scale, high-performance software
Experience developing Multi-threaded, multi-process, distributed systems
Basic knowledge and interest in REST APIs, Web-Service, WCF
Have experience with STL/Boost/MFC/Qt is bonus point
Performs effectively & independently in software implementation activities
