Description

Qualifications:

  • Selected individual must have strong communication skills and possess the ability to work effectively with all people (TM, TL, GL, SL, Engineers, Maintenance, & Finance) in a cross functional environment
  • Selected individual must be able to work flexible hours across shifts and departments with extended travel
  • Selected individual must be able to work plant downtime periods including holidays
  • Selected individual must have production group leader experience and has competent skills in base line knowledge of the group leader roles and responsibility (Safety systems, Ergonomics, GMS, Problem Solving, Quality Systems, Change Management, Kronos, Standardize Work (SOS/JES), & APS
  • Selected individual must have strong project management skills with a self-motivated proactive behavior and is willing to make decisions with minimal oversight
  • Selected individual must possess continuous improvement behaviors and have the tenacity to fight for the operator in all aspects of the business (safety, people, quality, responsiveness, cost, & environment)
  • Selected individual must have a working knowledge of current Paint process and PR&T Systems
  • Selected individual must have strong computer skills capable of learning new software systems (TCvis, ICIDO, APM, ECM)
  • Scope of responsibilities:

  • Selected individual will support the global launch process including virtual builds, PPO builds, and pilot events
  • Selected individual will incorporate safe work practices including the development of PPE requirements, safe operation setup, and proper guarding
  • Selected individual will incorporate new content into current process utilizing the operation readiness process
  • Selected individual will be responsible for a master dot process ensure all tasks are completed per the global development vehicle process including immersive technologies
  • Selected individual will be responsible to develop and implement a three (3) shift training plan which will include immersive technologies, school builds, and FWA JIT training process
  • Selected individual will be responsible to support production tooling development and implementation
  • Selected individual will be responsible to lead the development of change by footprint (CR process) partnering with Launch CORE, Vehicle Systems, Plant Maintenance, Safety, & I.E.'s
  • Selected individual will be responsible for developing and implementing quality systems for adherence to Paint Process Control Plan and Paint Standards
  • Selected individual will assist in implementation of engineering changes including EWO, TWO, ECR, & PTR processes.
  • Selected individual will be responsible to document and resolve build issues utilizing the easel board process, PRTS process, and plant standardize work process.
  • Selected individual will be responsible for developing standardized work that meets the plant production schedule requirements
  • Selected individual will be responsible to manage the SUPP budget through all accounts (2000 – 9000)
  • Selected individual will be responsible to report out at various launch walls ensure proper escalation to leadership
  • Selected individual will be responsible to capturing build issues and presenting the issues during build event wrap-up meetings including containment countermeasures for upcoming build events
  • Selected individual will assist with other Paint Shop related activities (GMS auditing, Production aid sorting, Process help, Operator support initiatives, etc.)
  • Selected individual will be asked to run production areas on a limited basis when there are no Launch activities
  • Selected individual will be asked to provide training for hourly and salaried Team Members when time permits
  • Education and Training:

  • College Degree – Preferred
