Role Overview:
As an Engineering Lab Technician will be a key contributor to our engineering team, playing a critical role in the design, validation, and testing of wiring harnesses for both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) applications. Your expertise in circuit schematics, EMI/EMC standards, and knowledge of harness subcomponents will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.
In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on tasks such as manual creation and setup of wiring harnesses for bench testing, as well as proficiency in manual crimping techniques. You will also play a vital role in standardizing and validating harnesses and updating project Design Verification (DV) Plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Design circuit schematics based on customer inputs for HV & LV applications.
Implement EMI/EMC standards to create wiring harnesses.
Possess in-depth knowledge of harness subcomponents such as clamps, protection types, wires, fuses, relays, etc.
Hands-on experience in manual creation and setup of wiring harnesses for bench testing.
Proficient in manual crimping techniques.
Standardize and validate harnesses, and update project DV (Design Verification) Plans.
Demonstrate expertise in automotive EV vehicle electrical components and devices (e.g., Motor, ECU, VCU, DC-DC, Inverter, HMI, etc.).
Requirements:
Diploma or Engineering degree in Automotive, Electrical, or a related technical field, or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar field.
Strong understanding and knowledge of automotive Indian & International standards.
Ability to apply engineering principles, concepts, and practices with precision.
Demonstrated knowledge of tooling and materials process validation.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
