An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Centre for Climate Change & Social Transformations (CAST) to deliver its mission of helping people create the transformation required to tackle climate change.About the role
CAST is seeking a highly motivated Knowledge Exchange (KE) Associate to translate our research into real-world impact, and ultimately help tackle the climate crisis. The Centre is already working with policy-makers, businesses and charities to create social, behavioural and organisational change measures and policies, but we need to expand our capabilities to respond rapidly to stakeholders' growing requests for our insights.
You will work with policy communities to translate CAST's behaviour change and engagement expertise into policy action, and with private-sector and third- sector organisations to co-develop and evaluate specific interventions and tools to change behaviour/organisations to cut emissions.
As well as responding to requests from these research users for CAST's insights, we also expect the Associate to cultivate KE opportunities and apply for funding for further research and engagement work. Across activities, the Associate should collect evidence of impact that could inform future REF impact case studies.
This role is offered on maternity cover job-share (18.25 hours per week) fixed-term basis until 30/04/2024 or the early return of the postholder.About you
