IT Technician in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 523859) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years' relevant experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; good communication and problem-solving skills. They should also be proficient in various operating system environments such as Windows and Linux, and have extensive experience in system administration, installation and maintenance of Windows computers and audio-visual equipment, as well as Microsoft SharePoint, Zoom and Panopto management.

The appointee will assist in conducting client system installations, server administration, IT security, IT procurement, and administering IT asset inventories. He/She will provide end-user support for the department's daily operations and teaching activities, including Zoom, MS SharePoint, and Panopto, and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
