About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead projects that deliver IT based solutions for our students and staff. You will be practical and committed to take a hands-on approach where needed.
With a relevant degree or professional qualification appropriate to the specific role being appointed to, e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, you will have a sound knowledge of IT and emerging technologies, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and experience working in large organisations managing change. You will also have previous experience in managing and delivering complex technical ideas to both a technical and non-technical audience, and experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall project management approaches, tailoring as needed.
ARU are looking for Project Managers with experience of implementing IT Business Systems solutions and/or IT Infrastructure for building projects.
We have two vacancies available, 1 Permanent role and 1 Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.

Anglia Ruskin University is amongst the most prestigious universities located in East Anglia, United Kingdom. The origins of the university can be traced back to the year 1858 when John Ruskin founded the Cambridge School of Art. With time, the Essex Institute of Higher Education merged with Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology to form Anglia Polytechnic. In 1992, it was named as Anglia Polytechnic University, and in 2005, it was renamed as Anglia Ruskin University. Based in East Anglia, the university has four campuses and partner institutes in the country as well as in international locations.
