The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked #14 in the United States, the No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the No. 2 hospital in Texas for Cardiology and Heart Surgery by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking an outstanding Interventional Cardiologist to work full time in our Regional Satellite center in Frisco. Responsibilities would include ambulatory cardiology, performing cardiac catheterizations including PCI and participation in STEMI call in the adjacent Texas Health Frisco hospital, as well as providing inpatient consultative services in that facility. Ambulatory cardiology would comprise a minimum of 50% of your effort. Candidate will be superior in all aspects of Cardiology.   • Board Certified in Internal Medicine, subspecialty certification in Interventional Cardiology
  • An unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas

  • Nationally recognized Cardiology Division with more than 100 faculty members that fosters a collegial and collaborative environment with a focus on faculty career development.
  • William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital has 6 laboratories dedicated to cardiac catheterization/EP. A state-of-the art facility that is visually appealing, incorporates advanced technology, and was designed for patient comfort and well-being and to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration, Clements University Hospital is a centerpiece for carrying out UT Southwestern's three-part mission – to heal, innovate, and educate.
  • ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship programs including Cardiovascular Disease, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant, Interventional Cardiology, as well as Texas Medical Board- accredited fellowship programs in Structural Interventional Cardiology, Advanced Echocardiography, Cardio-Oncology, and Cardiology Advanced Research and Clinical Training, Hypertension.
  • A close collaboration exists with the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery comprised of skilled cardiac surgeons who serve as a regional referral source for complex, quaternary care.
  • Remote conferencing capabilities allow participation in virtual lectures and multidisciplinary conferences.
