The person filling this position works under the director of Continuing Education to instruct and supervise students in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical area. This job performs instructional work and must be knowledgeable in the subject area being taught. The position will know procedures to achieve a positive learning environment for students and create a favorable work environment for the Continuing Education department.

Minimum Required Education

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Required Experience

One to five years experience working in subject area to be taught.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to maintain an effective classroom learning atmosphere. Ability to work under precise and exacting conditions. Ability to interact effectively with the public, students, faculty, and college personnel. Ability to lead and work effectively within a team. Ability to organize and disseminate information.
