Job Summary - The University of Exeter are recruiting a Sustainability Education Project Manager. You will work closely with the Sustainability Team and the Academic Climate Taskforce to support the delivery of key aspects of the sustainable education action plan and key education targets in the University's Environment & Climate Emergency Policy Statement. Two important aspects of the role are to manage the Responsible Futures and curriculum mapping initiatives. These initiatives are also linked with the university's transformative education agenda. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership scheme and is from November 2023 for 12 months. This role offers hybrid working where you will be able to work remotely and from the Streatham Campus in Exeter. For more information on the GBP scheme, please visit www.

About You - You should be a graduate who has good verbal communication skills, has the ability to communicate complex concepts in a user-friendly way, has project management experience, is competent in standard software packages, has skills in building and maintaining effective working relationships, and has experience in chairing and minute taking in meetings and in running workshops and training events. You should have a keen interest in sustainability, an understanding of education for sustainable development, the ability to work independently and to prioritise own workload as not continuously supervised, and good interpersonal skills, confident in meeting and working with people from a range of backgrounds and disciplines. You should also have an awareness of the University's sustainability agenda. Prior experience of delivering sustainability initiatives is desirable.
