An opportunity has arisen to be at the forefront of exciting developments at the Performance Centre of Loughborough University. You will be working alongside world-class athletes, including multiple Olympic and Commonwealth medallists, Boxing Centre of Excellence athletes, professional team sports men and women, among many more. You will expect to deliver an excellent calibre of customer care to our diverse range of customers, whilst maintaining high facility standards. Furthermore, you will need to ensure you have a broad understanding of relevant scientific principles, research, and contemporary training principles and how this can be applied into practice.
Loughborough Sport is undergoing a multi-million development of the Performance Centre, expanding our strength and conditioning gym which will work in collaboration with performance support services to form an unparalleled, world-leading eco-system. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering individual training sessions, group workshops and gym-floor classes to an exceptional standard. Uniquely, you will have the opportunity to form this provision by implementing your own relevant initiatives, adding value to the facility but providing an unrivalled opportunity for personal development at a world-leading institution.
You will supplement the development of a culture which delivers industry leading levels of customer participation through interaction, involvement, friendliness, and innovation. You will also be responsible for day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring it is safe, clean, and tidy at all times.

Normal working pattern will be Friday and weekend shifts and there is a 12.5% shift allowance.
