Job Description

In addition to financial controlling, responsibilities for supply chain and human resources within region, this role will also assist with strategy development in various business areas.

  • Sales Controlling for the Legal Entities PTNF/PTCM; Consolidation & Thru- Put financial analysis & reporting by Brand, Product, RBU, and Customer Group
  • Legal Entity Controlling for PTNF/PTCM; CTG level functions including Daily, Monthly, Annual GL activities, reporting, financial budgeting and KPI development & communication with Sales and Operational teams
  • Technical Management of GS shared service groups supporting PTNF/PTCM; Includes GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets accounting functions
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse work groups and client constituencies. Viewed as a balanced business partner. Value added in achieving company goals and objectives.
  • Can do attitude, with a structured approach to problem solving, producing high quality work, with demonstrated follow-through
  • Human Resources – Disciplinary Management HRL function; Headcount tracking & management
  • Indirect Purchasing – Target & Disciplinary Management; iBuy and PM Orders process development to support daily activities
  • Supply Chain Management – Disciplinary management of LOP function including involvement in PA and LE planning & reporting and strategic development of Inventories to support Sales requirements
  • Monitoring Procedure Oversight – Overall Compliance, communication, and support
  • Lead a team of 5 interdisciplinary direct supports
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA is preferred)
  • Must have experience being functional responsible for Legal Entity reporting as well as Regional Consolidation.
  • Definite plus if candidates have experience working cross functionally with departments such as Supply Chain, HR and other core business functions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a controller or in a controller capacity
  • A clear understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition, percent of completion accounting, and cash flow dynamics
  • Theoretical mastery of and proven successful practical experience of financial & cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting at site, regional and global scope.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, understand and develop into pragmatic planning actions
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse work groups and client constituencies.
  • Viewed as a balanced business partner in achieving company goals and objectives.
  • Prior supervisory experience with the ability to develop associates and work across multiple functions
  • Strong oral & written communication skills.
  • Effective communication with all organizational levels and International Colleagues. (Preferred multilanguage skills: English, German, Italian)
  • Can do attitude, with a structured approach to problem solving, producing high quality work, with demonstrated follow-through
