Executive Officer (PR0143/23-24)

The School of Continuing Education, one of the eight Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong, offers a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands. Operated on a self-financed basis, the School and its College of International Education currently employ about 400 full-time staff and 500 part-time instructors. The School is now looking for individuals with qualifications and experience to join its Virtual Exchange Centre.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the daily operation of the Virtual Exchange Centre;

Establish connection and maintain close liaison with colleagues across different academic divisions of SCE and external stakeholders/ partners for virtual exchange initiatives;

Manage websites and e-platforms for promotion of E-learning and virtual exchange projects;

Assist in the development of training videos and enhancement of global learning experience;

Facilitate the implementation of virtual exchange and organise international virtual exchange conferences; and

Monitor the progress of virtual exchange initiatives through regular review, data collection and analysis.

Requirements:

A recognised degree plus at least 1 year of relevant work experience;

Knowledge of website design/building/mangement, video shooting and editing, data analysis software, and graphic processing software will be a definite advantage;

Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, Chinese and English Word Processing;

Organised, detail-minded and highly self-motivated, with good communication and interpersonal skills; and

Able to work independently with multi-tasking skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
