Job Title Executive AideDepartment Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis - 23100 Pay Grade 6 Job Category Support Staff Job Summary
The Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA) department consists of eight full-time faculty and one staff member. ELPA offers challenging curricula in multiple graduate-level degree programs designed to develop strong leaders in the public and private sectors. ELPA students complete internships and development activities aimed at targeting their individual leadership and career focus while expanding their current knowledge and understanding of the leadership field.
Executive Aide reports directly to the departmental chair and provides administrative/clerical support to the department chair and works closely with a department faculty staff. This position will oversee the departmental office and associated equipment; provide general and administrative support duties; manage the general departmental budget (ex: monitor the financial accounts, manage/prepare travel documents, reimbursements, and order supplies for the chemistry department); hire, train, and supervise student workers; help manage graduate-assistant tasks; build/manage course schedules; enter course permits and schedules proposals; prepare contracts (ex: draft and manage faculty and graduate student contracts); assist in problem-solving; coordinate the flow of work and people through the departmental office; and perform other related duties as assigned.
