We are looking for two talented events professionals to join our ambitious team. This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous administrative experience who have worked in or has an interest in events, who has excellent IT skills, and enjoys working to tight deadlines maintaining the highest levels of accuracy.
Adept at working with multiple stakeholders and managing numerous events simultaneously, you will be responsible for providing flexible clerical and administrative support, primarily to the Events Managers and Events Producers, to aid in the smooth day-to-day running of the Events Team. This enables the team to be responsive to individual alumni and non-alumni contacts, while contributing to the delivery of the office strategic goals. The Events Assistant will frequently be the first point of contact with alumni, prospects, and donors, both in person and on the phone and via email. They manage a very busy schedule of enquiries, event bookings, creating invitations, building webpages, and working with suppliers, therefore playing a critical role in creating a good impression of the university and maintaining a good relationship with our audience.
The ideal candidate will be confident to interact with a wide range of both alumni and non-alumni, academics and other senior members of the University involved in delivering the Events programme. You will be comfortable hitting the ground running with existing events and capable of picking up new systems quickly.

This role is based in central Cambridge; however, we practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days a week. Occasionally evening and weekend work will be required.
