Engineering Programming and Reporting Manager (Internal Applicants only)

The Role:

The role holder will support the work of the Engineering Managers within the Estates Division to ensure that all statutory safety inspections, including those for electrical, lifting equipment and pressure systems are properly planned with sufficient resources to carry out all works, within the agreed timescales. They will ensure the impact on University teaching and research is kept as low as possible, while carrying out this essential work.

They will also manage the support team ensuring all certification is received and stored appropriately. The team also make sure remedial repairs identified during safety inspections are recorded correctly and each one is allocated the resources needed to carry out the necessary repairs. They will produce reports and dashboards to demonstrate the current level of compliance and highlight any areas of concern.

About you:

With your strong analytical skills, you will have experience with analysis of complex data and dealing with big and multiple-source datasets. You will have strong skills in attention to detail and accuracy and be able to work as part of a team as well as individually and to communicate well with colleagues across the University at all levels.
