General Role Overview The Engineer, Manufacturing EE Integration will work on-site alongside the Engineering and Production Partner (Magna Steyr) and the resident Fisker team with the aim of supporting the launch and serial production of the Fisker Ocean. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding skills in analysis, critical thinking, root cause investigation, and risk management.
The role will require strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally and alongside external stakeholders. Working within the Manufacturing team, this role will report to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing & E/E Integration.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and support E/E activities together with E/E Engineering team, Manufacturing, SQA, Suppliers,
Launch Team, Service, and external partners.
Coordinate implementation and confirmation of interim containment actions (ICA) and permanent corrective
actions (PCA), liaising with the team.
Responsible for signing off and supporting the implementation of product changes affecting Electrical Engineering
(E/E) during the change management process.
Track, manage, and resolve technical issues related to E/E within General Assembly, and lead cross-functional
teams to resolve.
Act as the first point of contact for any E/E issues identified in the plant and coordinate necessary responses.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field. Master of Science is preferred.
2 to 4 years of relevant experience with End-Of-Line (EOL) manufacturing systems (e.g., DSA, VCATS) and the ability to maintain, update, and read diagnostic data and test sequences.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies Relevant experience in the automotive sector (experience on an EV is an advantage)
Solid understanding of Electrical / Electronic (E/E) commissioning procedures, such as ADAS, Infotainment, Telematics, Body, Chassis, Powertrain procedure or one of these commodities
Knowledge and understanding of the vehicle development process, milestones, and deliverables.
Working knowledge of 8D problem-solving methodologies.
Experience using JIRA for issue tracking and resolution is preferred.
Vector CANalyzer, CANoe knowledge is preferred.
English speaking and a good understanding of written and spoken English (German is an advantage).
Ability to form strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and self-starter, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).

Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, as required
