GreenPower Motor Company, Inc. (GreenPower) is a leading manufacturer and distributor of purpose-built, all-electric, zero-emission medium and heavy- duty vehicles serving the cargo and delivery market, shuttle and transit space and school bus sector.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

GreenPower Motor Company is seeking an Electrical Process Engineer that is responsible for creating all production documents that pertain to the manufacture of GreenPower vehicles. The candidate must be comfortable working independently and have experience with all phases of manufacturing, validation, and QA/QC of heavy-duty

  • Responsible for the preparation of BOM, and product drawings
  • Responsible for Standardizing the design of the product and formulating the process flow
  • Responsible for Formulating reasonable operating specifications (SOP) and quality standards for each production process, and formulating quality control points and inspection methods for in-process inspections
  • Conduct process review on product design drawings to ensure that product design meets production requirements
  • Responsible for formulating production working hours, formulating production plans according to working hours and procurement cycles, and controlling production costs
  • Guide and supervise production according to the process flow
  • Responsible for the maintenance of product quality and technical issue handling at the production site, and proposing product improvement plans
  • Responsible for the confirmation and follow-up of the trial assembly and test results of new suppliers' parts
  • Responsible for supporting after-sales service, customer complaints, and quality feedback, and assisting the engineering and after-sales department to deal with them
  • Assist in evaluating new suppliers, and introducing and transforming new technologies to the production line
  • Any other pertinent production-related duties as needed
  • Requirements

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, major in electrical engineering
  • More than 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical vehicle assembly (Best experience with E-truck or E-bus), and technical document management, such as BOM, SOP, Process flow design, working station setup, Quality Control Document, PFMEA.
  • Familiar with the electrical process parameters and tooling that are related to the production.
  • Familiar with the electrical interface and electrical connection of low- voltage devices, motors, and high-voltage battery packs and electrical chargers.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design software (SolidWorks preferred), Microsoft Suite
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin Chinese preferred
  • Be able to travel, 15% domestic and 10% international
  • Be able to handle oversea meetings and oversea suppliers.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    Work is normally performed in an interior/office work environment with prolonged sitting and computer work.
