Title: Director of Supply Chain and Procurement

Reports To : Executive Vice President, Data Center Operations

Job Description:

Core Scientific is seeking a Director of Supply Chain and Procurement to aid in the success of Data Center Infrastructure and Operations organization. This individual will focus most heavily on the management of the procurement team, fixed asset tracking, and processes for Data Center Operations materials and construction commodities. This role is a pivotal and strategic position with exceptional growth opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities:

· Directs the procurement and purchasing operations and strategy to provide the materials and commodities to meet Data Center Operational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing.

· Evaluates and develops strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain.

· Designs processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands.

· Collaborates with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels.

· Incorporates auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations.

· Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.

· Work cross-functionally with other departments and executives within the company to execute short and long-term objectives.

· Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field.

· 5+ years of managerial experience.

· Proven experience in the Data Center Commodities industry.

· Proven cross-functional experience.

· The ability to network effectively in the industry.

· Knowledge with Oracle NetSuite systems.

· Knowledge with fixed asset tracking/accounting CMMs systems.

Job Location: Remote

Travel: 50 % (Travel to Austin Tx Corporate Headquarters when needed)

If Core Scientific determines through a factory audit or otherwise that a Supplier is not meeting the requirements and expectations set forth in these Standards, Core Scientific shall offer guidance with respect to matters requiring correction or that need improvement. Core Scientific reserves the right, however, to cancel outstanding orders, suspend future orders or terminate its relationship with the Supplier, as circumstances demand.
