Title: Director of DCOE Programs – Strategy

Reports To: SVP of DCOE Strategy and Planning

The Job:

As Director of DCOE Programs – Strategy, you'll focus on driving growth, performance, and operational efficiency throughout the DCOE Organization. Work on projects of strategic importance, such as growth strategy, business model transformation, business initiatives, operational excellence, and companywide communication. Collaborate closely with the SVP and EVP of Data Center Operations & Engineering, executive leadership team, and senior leaders across the organization to shape strategy and drive execution. Be a thought partner to senior leaders, helping to devise corporate and functional strategies. Generate business insights, Roadmaps, develop strategies and business cases that inform company strategy and unlock potential value. Drive the definition, measurement, and tracking of key strategic initiatives critical to company growth and operational efficiency. Coach and mentor analysts, associates, managers, and senior leaders within Data Center Operations and Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Will be the organizational champion of Lean Agile principles
  • Optimize Operational processes to ensure best practices and business processes are consistent, well-aligned across the organization, and result in desired outcomes.
  • Maintain processes to improve operational efficiency and communication (i.e., continuous improvement)
  • Lead and participate on key strategic initiatives critical to company growth and operational efficiency
  • Cross organization workflow integration
  • Will partner with other company organizations as an advocate for the DCOE teams to drive improvements for cross functional alignment
  • Will seek to understand the needs of DCOE teams and partner with those teams to address capability gaps and or opportunity for improvement.
  • Will design and build new strategic programs that enable operational scalability
  • Owns all DCOE programs driving standardization and operational consistency
  • Defines program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Introduces teamwork concepts and foster a healthy teamwork environment
  • Obtains consensus among team members on program methodology, process, and Program Management Tools
  • Selects and applies program methodology, educates team members, and enforces processes
  • Implements large program process changes across departments
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in a business management or leadership role
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field
  • Experience in data analysis and budget management, preferred
  • Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management, preferred
  • Proven success in a program coordination role
  • Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions
  • Strong reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications
  • Work Environment This job operates in a traditional office space. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones.

    Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands; and lift up to 10 pounds.

    Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, salaried position.

    Travel This position requires minimal travel, approximately 15%.

    If Core Scientific determines through a factory audit or otherwise that a Supplier is not meeting the requirements and expectations set forth in these Standards, Core Scientific shall offer guidance with respect to matters requiring correction or that need improvement. Core Scientific reserves the right, however, to cancel outstanding orders, suspend future orders or terminate its relationship with the Supplier, as circumstances demand.
