Summary of Position
The Director will oversee and manage Career Services operations to include
programming and support service initiatives; budget management and staff
hiring, training and supervision. Develop, plan and implement career
development programs and job placement activities, as well as career
counseling, training, information sessions and other related services to
support the employability of CTC students and alumni college-wide.
Minimum Required Education
Bachelor's degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state
level accredited institution of higher education required, prefer Master's
degree in Counseling, Business, Human Resources.
Minimum Required Experience
At least three years of wage earning experience in education/vocation
counseling; academic advisement; human resources; job placement; career
development or related education or employment program is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate
effectively verbally and in writing.
Must be able to create, implement, and manage programs that meet the needs
of students and support the departmental and institutional objectives.
Must possess computer knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word Outlook,
spreadsheets, and computerized career guidance programs and associated
employment-related software.
Must be able to establish and manage a program budget.

Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thur 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-11:30
