This is an exciting opportunity to support the Doctorate of Business Administration in Higher Education Management.

About the role

The DBA Programme officer leads the administrative team supporting the DBA and works with the Academic Director of Studies to ensure that the programme is run efficiently and effectively.

They are responsible for managing the application process, as well as progression and examination processes for all students on the programme; making sure that they occur in a timely manner and according to all relevant University regulations.

You will also be in regular communication with students and potential applicants and be a key point of contact for the programme across the University.

You will be part of the wider Doctoral College and will work collaboratively with academic and other professional service colleagues, to support and enhance the experience of all applicants to and students on the programme.

This role is a full-time position (36.5 hours per week) on a permanent basis. We currently operate a hybrid model such that staff can mix working from home and in the office on campus.

  • Can work to deadlines on your own initiative.
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures and implement positive changes
  • Has excellent communication skills, and can interact with everyone engaging with the wide range of individuals and groups connected to the programme.
  • Able to mentor and motivate the programme administrator to deliver their tasks and develop their skills.
