The Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU) is seeking ambitious clinical trials data management individuals to join its expanding team. With several new studies due to launch in 2024 this is an exciting time to join a growing and forward-thinking trials unit.

We have a vacancy for a full-time clinical trials Data Manager , offered on a two-year, fixed term contract basis, and available immediately.

Data Managers provide crucial support to the delivery of high-quality clinical trials, working closely with CTU colleagues and external investigators to maximise the quality and completeness of clinical trial data. Data Managers support day-to-day management of study data, overseeing data entry, interrogating data for quality and completeness, designing queries for targeted data exports, data cleaning, liaising with investigator sites all over the UK and preparing datasets for statistical analysis. Data Managers working in ExeCTU can expect receive opportunities to assist with the set-up and delivery of clinical trial projects, assisting with Case Report Form / Data Collection Form design, and building data capture systems in the Unit's REDCap system. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable skills and experience in data management, ideally gained in a healthcare research setting, a good understanding of Data Protection principles and a keen eye for detail. As you will work closely, interactively and collaboratively with numerous stakeholders you will need excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills, along with the ability to manage and meet deadlines.

ExeCTU is a forward-thinking, rapidly growing and innovative fully-registered UKCRC clinical trials unit (www. exeter.ac.uk/ctu/).
