The general requirements for a candidate applying for the position of Assistant Professor:

Hold a doctoral degree, confirmed by a copy of the diploma.

Verified proficiency in a modern foreign language.

Demonstrate a scholarly track record, including a minimum of three publications in journals listed in the Journal Citation Report (JCR), with at least one publication accepted or published after the submission of the doctoral thesis where the candidate is the lead or corresponding author.

Documented completion of a research internship in at least one national research center other than IHAR-PIB.

Specific Requirements

The specific requirements for a candidate applying for the position of Assistant Professor:

Hold a higher education degree in biotechnology (Ph.D. in chemical sciences with a focus on biotechnology).

Co-authorship of at least 1 patent.

Experience in the following areas: microbiology of pathogenic organisms; work with plant viruses, including mass spectrometry analysis of viruses; structural, thermal, and morphological analysis, as well as modification of natural polymers.

Completion of postgraduate studies in medical analytics and an active license to work as a laboratory diagnostician.

Experience allowing for work with blood and blood-derived products.

Authorization to work with animals.

Demonstrated knowledge of methods related to pathogenic organisms through publication in a scientific journal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Independence, conscientiousness, responsibility, and excellent work organization.

Previous experience working in a scientific institution will be an additional advantage.

Proficiency in the English language.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
