We offer an exciting full-time, research position in the dynamically growing team of the Institute's Bonin Branch. The research covers widely understood issues of interaction of potatoes with pathogens, prevention of infection, its identification, etc. At the Institute, there are opportunities for further scientific advancement, internships at home and abroad, and the formation of an individual career path.

General requirements for the position of Assistant: - university degree in biological or agricultural sciences, - confirmed work experience - min. 12 months in scientific and research units corresponding to the rank of IHAR-PIB or at a university in an assistant, research and technical, engineering, or other position appropriate to the master's degree, - documented publication record, consisting of authorship or co-authorship of a paper published in a peer-reviewed journal, from the JCR list, - conducting a scientific seminar at a scientific unit or delivering a paper/lecture at a workshop or scientific conference, - knowledge of a modern foreign language, - having a high level of professional ethics (no criminal record).

Specific Requirements

Specific requirements for the position of assistant at the IHAR-PIB Branch in Bonin.

- Ability to synthesize compounds possessing inducer activity of plant resistance to pathogens.

- Experience in testing the biological activity of plant protection products under greenhouse conditions.

- Experience in directing scientific projects.

- Experience in performing greenhouse experiments, documented by publications.

- Experience in induction of plant resistance to viruses, documented by publications.

- Knowledge of statistical evaluation methods of research results and MS Office package.
