
About the Role We have an exciting opportunity as a Cloud Administrator to come join us in the Infrastructure Services team at Swinburne. As the Cloud Administrator, you will play a key role in the virtualisation and automation of the Windows infrastructure as well as support complex cloud management platforms.
You will be a strong collaborator and possess proven communications skills to deal with people at all levels within the organisation, to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
You will possess the drive to continuously improve service delivery, working collaboratively with IT support teams to optimize efficiency of incident resolution and problem management. You will also be responsible for driving a high standard of customer service and working with stakeholders to ensure recognition of, and responsiveness to, the needs of internal and external clients.
This position reports to the Infrastructure Services Manager in the Information Technology department. The Infrastructure Services team focuses on maintaining a high level of availability for its portfolio of services that underpin numerous corporate, research, teaching and learning solutions across the university. With a combination of on premises, virtual and cloud-based services the Infrastructure Services team provides the on-going support and maintenance of the universities IT infrastructure.

It was founded in 1908 as the Eastern Suburbs Technical College by George Swinburne in order to serve those without access to further education in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
