Description
Responsibilities: Sorts, processes and distributes incoming and outbound mail for students and employees of UMHB. Processes packages for shipping, express delivery and routine mail. Assists customers with sales and service.
Minimum Requirements: 1. A high school diploma or GED is required. 2. A minimum of one (1) year full-time clerical employment experience in a customer service environment is required. 3. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. 4. Proficiency in calculator – cash register operation is required. 5. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation is required. 6. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. 7. Must possess a current and valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
Salaries and Benefits: Salary is commensurate with experience. Part time employees are eligible for the following benefits:
