Full-time, fixed-term position through to December 2024.
Base salary will be in the range $93,254.55 to $101,680.96 + 17% superannuation.
Based at our St Lucia campus.
About This Opportunity
The Change Analyst will contribute to change planning and execution of the Security Improvements Program, with responsibility for ensuring that change impacts are understood, appropriate change management processes are considered are that business processes are effectively embedded. The Change Analyst will ensure that all change activities are executed in line with ITS Change Governance Frameworks.
Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and deliver communication and change management activities as well as project change management assurance and reporting for ITS's Cyber Security Improvements Program.
Maintain change management and communications frameworks, guidance, and templates for the Cyber Security Improvements Program.
Ensure all communication materials are up-to-date, consistent with UQ's brand and style guidelines and circulated appropriately.
Liaise with stakeholders to identify training needs and coordinate training with other specialists, assisting where necessary with the development and delivery of training materials and sessions.
Design, create, and seek approval for collateral made in using the Adobe suite, including indesign.
About You
Qualifications and training equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in organisational change, project management, communications or a related field, or significant progress towards such qualifications, and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Prior experience in successfully managing the delivery of change, including a solid understanding of people and process issues in implementing new business processes and resource changes across an organisation.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including an ability to present concepts credibly, thoughtfully, and persuasively and an ability to consider and reconcile diverse ideas and views through negotiation.
Ability to work independently and methodically and meet deadlines.
Broad awareness of information technology sufficient to liaise effectively with technical stakeholders and to analyse and communicate change impacts associated with IT projects.
Experience in the effective use of a wide range of computer applications in a network environment (particularly Microsoft Office, O365, Adobe products including InDesign, collaboration tools including Teams, Zoom and Confluence) or the demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
Desirable:
Experience in the change management of large-scale IT projects, including a well-developed understanding of change management principles and techniques.
Experience working in the higher education sector.
The successful candidate may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
