Casual – Postgraduate Student Engagement Champion

Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour plus 12.07% accrued holiday per total value

Working Hours: Part Time – approximately 15 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term for 1 academic year- September 2024 until May 2025

Main duties & responsibilities:

The role is designed to ensure that newly arrived postgraduate students are correctly enrolled, connected to the appropriate support and feel part of our community as they begin their first term. Throughout Semester A and B, the role holder will support a cohort of approximately 150-200 students. You will require access to a Windows based computer, and a private place to work and make calls. (32-bit or 64-bit Windows 8 - 8.1 or 10. Must have .NET framework version 4.7.2 or later) It is expected that you will possess skills in the management and manipulation of Excel data.

Formerly recognized as Hatfield Technical College, University of Hertfordshire is a public university which was established in the year 1952. Helen Lederer is a famous actress and comedian. Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Darell Leikin graduated from the University of Hertfordshire. Chris Gubbey is Auto Executive for General Motors. Upen Patel is an acclaimed film actor and a model. BBC presenter, Kate Bellingham is a renowned alumnus of this university. In addition, it has also produced many eminent sports personalities such as Ajaz Akhtar, who is a British cricketer and Noah Cato, who is a rugby union player.
