We are looking for someone to act as a bridge between our Marketing, Events and Recruitment teams and academic departments, who will help develop the content, campaigns and events that bring students to Goldsmiths.
What you will doYou will be responsible for liaising with an academic school and working with them to identify and coordinate activity to support Goldsmiths' student recruitment targets. This activity will then be fed into campaign plans across all areas of the teams (for example events and CRM).
Typical activities run by the Marketing, Events and Recruitment teams may include digital content, advertising, recruitment fairs, open days and online events. The campaign activity will cover undergraduate and postgraduate, conversion, clearing, home and international recruitment.
You will bring expertise in either marketing or student recruitment, as well as stakeholder/account management. You'll learn about our courses and their associated recruitment needs, mapping this onto central activity. A large part of the role will be ensuring academic participation in our activities.
Where the role sitsThis role sits within the Communications, Marketing and Recruitment (CMR) Business Partner team.
The Business Partners are at the centre of our delivery and work with colleagues from across Goldsmiths. This role will be connected to one of our academic schools and be the first point of contact for them.
We have five Business Partners and a manager. They work together, helping each other out and being flexible about what they do.
What the successful candidate needsThe role will best be suited to someone who enjoys connecting people and likes to explore inventive solutions. Ideally, you will have experience of working in student marketing or student recruitment.
Dynamic and at times challenging, it would suit someone with previous experience working with internal departments or managing multiple points of contact within an internal role.
Working locationWe are operating a hybrid working model of at least two days in our office in New Cross, London. This is subject to change, but there are currently no plans to change it.
However, this role requires flexibility to attend meetings and activities on any day.
Applying for the roleWe can only accept applications using our online application form. We cannot accept CVs emailed directly to us.
You must complete the Essential and Desirable Criteria sections of the application form by explaining how you meet the criteria within the Person Specification in the Job Description.
We are planning to interview on Thursday 12 October 2023.
