About the role:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Skydio, you will be focused on driving qualified outbound meetings as we expand our business across North America. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with cold outbound experience. How you'll make an impact:

  • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities to fill our pipeline
  • Prospect strategically: Identify key accounts; source decision-maker contact data; leverage creativity and a multi-channel approach to book meetings with C/VP-level
  • Qualify prospects in discovery stage by conducting high-level calls with executives
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
  • Attend key industry events and qualify prospects in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with team members and leaders to innovate & improve our process
  • What makes you a good fit:

  • 6+ months of cold outbound experience
  • Track record of booking VP/C executives via cold call and cold email
  • Strong work ethic and confident to work autonomously (we're fully remote)
  • Naturally curious; you love learning and you focus on finding the “deeper why”
  • Growth mindset: highly coachable, focused on getting 1% better every day
  • High energy, team-player, eager to contribute feedback and ideas
  • Organized to prioritize your time 80:20 to drive consistent results

  • Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $53,125 - $67,187 + commission. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.

    For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
