Role Overview

Fisker is looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager for our remote Business Development Center (BDC) to join our growing US team. The ideal candidate must possess an outgoing personality, the ability to influence, and guide, customers to move forward in the sales process, and phenomenal communication skills with both customers and team members. With at least 5+ years of proven, exceptional experience in a previous high performing BDC or Internet sales department in the automotive industry, you should have a proven track record of closing customer deals. Your primary responsibility will be receiving and making inbound and outbound calls on new vehicles, with the goal of firmly establishing appointment dates and times with prospective customers. This role is crucial for driving both strategic and tactical planning throughout the organization and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all guest inquiries with an unwavering focus on achieving 100% guest satisfaction.

  • Receive inbound calls on new vehicles and efficiently handle customer escalations to establish firm appointment dates and times that drive customer purchases.

  • Project a friendly and helpful demeanor while responding to questions and inquiries from guests, providing general and vehicle sales-related information.

  • Maintain and convey exceptional product and inventory knowledge to our guests.

  • Oversee the collection and accurate entry of all customer data into the BDC database as directed.

  • Develop comprehensive scripts and provide them to the team to address guest inquiries and concerns in line with Fisker's sales objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with Vehicle Admin Supervisors and Coordinators in a team-based environment.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on all communications and leads as directed by management and established procedures.

  • Strictly adhere to all company directives related to the National Do Not Call List and Privacy Acts.

  • Maintain regular communication with the Executive team or front-line employees as needed.

  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Previous automotive dealership experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in BDC/internet sales/phone selling and closing roles.

  • 3+ years previous management experience.

  • Proven and high performing experience in the automotive industry.

  • Desire to coach and train a team to achieve exceptional results.

  • Ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound sales and service call volume, internet leads, and call lists.

  • Outgoing personality with the ability to effectively influence customers to schedule appointments and move forward in the sales funnel.

  • Exceptional communication skills when interacting with customers and team members.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Enthusiastic personality.

  • Dependable and reliable.

  • Expected Salary Range: $110,762 and $132,825 per year.

    Additional Compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation, which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. Employee eligibility to participate in equity programs is subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance coverage for eligible full- time employees, as well as their spouse or domestic partner and children up to age 26. Coverage begins on the first day of employment, with Fisker covering a significant portion of the premiums for employees.
