What will you be doing at DeepL? DeepL is growing - and in this phase we need your holistic understanding and
experience in the optimisation and design of technological and business
processes. You will work with many departments such as Finance, Product, R &D,
Go-to-Market and Legal to strategically drive business projects as well as
people and culture issues. Your responsibilities will range from project
preparation and ownership to the implementation of new business processes. You
will also have the ability to develop strategies, solve problems in a
structured way, communicate confidently and use your strong analytical and
entrepreneurial skills.

Your responsibilities
Work across functions and departments on business projects and programmes
(independently and in teams)
Supporting strategy development in the CFO's staff team
Project preparation in coordination with all involved teams
Recommendations for action and presentations to senior management
Project ownership including communications, stakeholder and risk
management and interim management
Implementation of new business processes in cooperation with the various
departments, as well as analysis and optimisation of existing processes in
the organisational and operational structure
Preparation of make-or-buy decisions (selection and onboarding of partner
companies)
Definition, standardisation, optimisation and digitalisation of end-to-end
processes in different business areas

About you
Excellent Master's degree or comparable qualification
Several years of practical and project experience (e.g. in top management
consulting, in a staff function of the board of directors or in the
strategy department of companies) as well as intercultural skills
Ideally, experience in a high-tech or SaaS environment
Strong business skills, holistic understanding and experience in
optimising and designing business processes
Confident demeanour and strong communication and negotiation skills in
English
Solution and consensus oriented work/moderation as well as strong
analytical, conceptual and entrepreneurial skills
Structured problem solving and convincing presentation of "consulting
results" and professional documentation (including Excel and PowerPoint
skills)
