In this Senior DevOps Engineer role, you will develop and maintain our core data platform and infrastructure that ranges from data ingress/egress, analytics, CI/CD platform and scale our database environments.   • What you get to do in this role :

  • Build and support BrightDrop's Big Data platform infrastructure.

  • Deploy and maintain our cloud network, systems, NoSQL databases and patch management applications within Azure.

  • Build and configure Databricks

  • Support and maintain data lake

  • Deploy and maintain CosmosDB NoSQL databases

  • Optimize and maintain Azure Event Hubs for Data Ingestion

  • Build and maintain end-to-end automated CI/CD pipelines for all deployments.

  • Participate in ‘On Call' DevOps schedule to support production.

  • Tire of technical debts? You will have the opportunity to help create, influence, design, and improve our CI/CD pipeline

  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience on Azure or other public cloud platforms as a senior or lead

  • Significant experience with data Ingestion services like Event Hub, Kinesis or Kafka

  • Significant experience with Databricks products on a public cloud

  • Strong experience in scripting/programing – Python, Java, PowerShell, Bash.

  • 3+ years of work experience with Container ecosystem (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with configuration and management of distributed No-SQL databases in public cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor/Sentinel, Datadog, NewRelic, or Grafana with Prometheus.

  • Experience working with IaC and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Chef or Ansible.

  • Experience with CI/CD automation frameworks – Azure DevOps/Github Actions/CircleCI/Jenkins

  • Significant experience with agile methodologies and issue-tracking software (Jira, Azure DevOps.)

  • Understanding of git and source control management tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub.

  • You have set up , maintained, scaled and run Databricks in Azure (A big plus)

  • The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant in the California Bay Area which includes the following counties: Marin, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz might be paid in accordance with the California law.

    The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.

    The annual salary range for this role is $ 146,900 - $ 225,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

    Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
