Offer DescriptionWithin the NUMBRISH project "The neurobiology of numerical cognition: searching for a molecular genetic signature in the zebrafish brain" (prot. R20YL9WN9N), CUP E73C22000430001, funded by the program "MIUR FARE Ricerca in Italia", the aim of the project is to investigate the cognitive mechanisms underlying the representation of quantity in a comparative perspective. In particular, both behavioral and neurobiological experiments aimed at understanding the relationships between various aspects of quantity cognition, relating, for example, to number discrimination operations and their neural bases, will be conducted.
